How voting to sell works

Updated 05 Oct 2026

A vote to sell gives the investors in a property a say in its exit.

  1. WIZ schedules a vote for a fully funded property and tells every investor, by email and on the website.
  2. Voting opens for a fixed window, normally 14 days. Each investor votes Yes (sell), No (keep) or Abstain.
  3. Each vote counts for your units. An investor with 500 units has 500 votes, so ownership decides, not the number of people.
  4. The vote closes and is counted. The result is sent to everyone.
  5. If it passes, WIZ arranges the sale. A sale is generally completed within about three months. You receive your share of the proceeds, in proportion to your units, after costs, fees and tax, in your wallet.

A vote does not sell the property by itself. It gives WIZ the authority to sell. Voting is optional, but it is the only way for your voice to count. Find your votes under Votes in your account menu.
