How it works

Investors jointly fund a property, hold a proportionate number of units, receive distributions and exit. One property = one legal entity = one bank account = one ledger.

  1. Step 01

    Sign up and complete KYC

Register with your email and phone, then submit your CNIC or passport, NTN (if any) and filer status. Compliance approves, rejects or requests more information — always with a reason.

  2. Step 02

    Choose a unit

Every listing shows the property, the legal entity that will hold it, the designated bank account, the full fee schedule and the live funding progress in units.

  3. Step 03

Pay from your wallet or by bank

Pick your amount. Whole units are allocated and any remainder is never charged. Pay instantly from your wallet, or reserve for 48 hours and transfer to the property account with your payment reference.

  4. Step 04

    Units are issued on reconciliation

A bank receipt counts only once the settled transaction is matched to your reference. Units are then written to the append-only unit ledger and your capital is posted as a liability of the property.

  5. Step 05

    Receive distributions

Each distribution follows the published waterfall, is approved by a second officer, and is paid to wallets net of withholding tax.

  6. Step 06

Exit: vote to sell, or sell your units

Investors in a property can vote together to sell it; a majority of the units that vote decides, and your share of the proceeds follows your units. On sale, capital is returned first and the net profit — after filing, transfer, legal and other deductions — is shared by ownership at the record date. Or list your units on the Market for another investor to buy.

Questions

WIZ FinTech is a property pooling platform. Many investors jointly fund one real-estate project, hold a proportionate number of units, receive distributions and exit together.

Individuals, companies and overseas Pakistanis over 18 who complete KYC verification. Your filer status determines withholding tax on distributions.

Each project sets its own minimum ticket. The reference project starts at PKR 25,000 (25 units of PKR 1,000).

Each project is divided into units of a fixed price. Your units divided by total units issued is your percentage share, calculated to four decimal places.

Units are allocated as whole numbers. Any remainder below one unit price is credited back to your wallet, never rounded up.

All settled subscriptions are refunded in full to investor wallets and the project is cancelled.

Fees are set per project in basis points and shown before you subscribe: an entry fee, an annual management fee, an exit fee and a performance fee above the hurdle rate.

Distribution runs are prepared per period, approved by a second officer and paid to your wallet net of withholding tax, based on your holdings at the record date.

No. In profit-and-loss sharing projects returns depend on actual rental income and sale proceeds. Projections are indicative only.

Yes. One project = one legal entity = one bank account = one ledger. Funds of one project never touch another project.

Only when a settled bank transaction matching your payment reference is reconciled. An uploaded screenshot is evidence, not settlement.

Yes. WIZ FinTech is Islamic Shariah compliant. You buy units of a real property and own a proportionate share of it. There is no loan and no interest (riba) anywhere in the structure. Returns come only from the property's actual rent and its sale proceeds, shared between unit holders in proportion to their units (profit-and-loss sharing). They are never fixed or promised, and a property can lose value as well as gain it. Each property has its own legal entity, bank account and ledger, so your money is never mixed with another project.

Every investor gets a short referral code, like sh01, on their Referrals page. When someone signs up with your code and then invests, you earn a bonus on the amount they invest, added to your wallet.

Open the Referrals tab in your account. You will see your code and a link that fills it in for your friend. They can also type your code into the "Referred by" box when they sign up. A code can only be added at sign-up, not afterwards.

The bonus is a percentage of the amount your friends invest (the entry fee is not counted). It starts at 0.2% and goes up by 10% of itself, for example from 0.2% to 0.22%, each time the people you referred have invested another PKR 1 million in total, up to a top rate of 2.5%. A new rate applies from the next investment. Your current rate, and how much more is needed to reach the next one, are shown on your Referrals page.

As soon as your friend's investment is settled, which means we have received their money and issued their units. The bonus goes straight into your wallet.

No. Your bonus is paid by WIZ FinTech. It does not add to your friend's cost or reduce what they receive.

If an investment is refunded, for example because a property does not reach its minimum raise, the bonus for it is taken back from your wallet, as far as it is still there, and it stops counting towards your total.

Yes, it is part of your wallet balance. Withdrawals follow the normal rules shown on your Wallet page, and each request is approved by our team before it is paid.

Yes. Your Referrals page lists the people who joined with your code, the properties they invested in and the bonus each investment earned. To protect privacy, names are shown as a first name and last initial, and the amounts your friends invested are not shown.

There are three ways: the planned sale of the property, a vote of the investors to sell it, or selling your units to another investor on the Market at a rate you choose. Units may not be easy to sell before the planned exit, and a buyer is not guaranteed.

Investors in a property can vote together on whether to sell it. Each vote counts for the units you held on the vote's record date. If enough investors take part and more than half of the yes and no units say yes, WIZ arranges the sale and you are paid your share of the proceeds in your wallet.

A vote opens only on a fully funded property, normally no earlier than 12 months after it was funded (earlier only for a stated reason). Voting stays open for 7 to 45 days, usually 14. After a vote that does not pass, the next one waits 6 months. You are told by email and on the website when a vote opens, and reminded about 48 hours before it closes.

Voting is optional, but your vote counts only if you cast it. You can change your vote until the vote closes. Other investors never see how you voted.

It passes when at least half of all units take part (by default) and the yes units are more than half of the yes and no units. Abstaining counts as taking part but not towards yes or no. The numbers for each vote are shown on its page.

The property continues as before and you keep your units. If it does not pass, or not enough investors vote, the next vote cannot open for six months.

A sale is generally completed within about three months after a passing vote. The payout is then prepared by finance, approved by a second officer and paid to your wallet. This is a general expectation, not a guarantee.

If a property does not reach its funding goal by its closing date, WIZ either extends the funding period or cancels the raise. If it is cancelled, every investor is refunded in full with no fees kept, including the entry fee. The money returns to your WIZ wallet, where you can invest it in another property or withdraw it to your own bank account.

No. A property can only sell the units it has. Units you are paying for are held for you for 48 hours, so nobody else can take them, and the system never issues more units than the property has.

Straight away: your wallet is credited with your full investment plus the entry fee as soon as the raise is cancelled, and you are emailed. A withdrawal to your bank then follows the normal withdrawal steps.
