These terms govern your use of WIZ FinTech and your investor account. By creating an account you agree to them. Each property you invest in also has its own subscription agreement; if that agreement and these terms differ, the property agreement applies to that property.
1. What WIZ FinTech does
WIZ FinTech lets many investors jointly fund a property and hold a proportionate number of units in it. Each property is kept separate: it has its own legal entity, its own designated bank account and its own ledger, and money from one property is never mixed with another.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate, complete information.
- You must complete identity verification (KYC) and be approved before you can invest. We may ask for more information and may refuse or suspend an account where verification or screening requires it.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account.
3. Investing: subscriptions and units
- Units are issued in whole numbers at the property’s unit price. If your amount is not an exact multiple of the unit price, the remainder is not charged.
- You can pay from your wallet or by bank transfer to the property’s designated account using your payment reference. A bank transfer reservation expires if payment is not received in time.
- A payment counts only once the bank transaction has settled and been matched to your payment reference. Units are issued to you at that point. An uploaded screenshot or receipt is evidence, not settlement.
- Minimum and maximum investment amounts and the maximum number of investors are set per property and shown on its page.
4. Wallet
Your wallet holds amounts credited to you, such as distributions, sale proceeds and refunds. You can use the balance to invest or withdraw it to your verified payout bank account; withdrawals are normally paid within two business days. You need approved verification to withdraw.
5. Distributions and exits
- Income and sale proceeds are shared according to the units you hold on the record date of each distribution, following the property’s published distribution waterfall.
- Every distribution is prepared by one officer and approved by another before it is paid to wallets.
- Withholding tax is deducted at the rate that applies to your filer status on the record date.
6. Fees
Each property’s fees (entry, management, exit and performance fees, and any hurdle rate) are stated on its page. They are fixed once the property opens for funding.
7. Risk
Investing in property involves risk, including loss of capital, and units cannot be redeemed on demand. Returns are not guaranteed; in profit-and-loss sharing properties they depend on actual rental income and sale proceeds. Projections and calculators on this website are illustrations only. Please read the risk disclosure before investing.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the platform: no false information, no use of another person’s identity or funds, no attempts to interfere with the site’s security or other users’ accounts. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or where the law requires it.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email before they take effect.
