WIZ FinTech
Legal

Last updated 29 September 2026.

This policy explains what personal data WIZ FinTech (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website and your investor account, why we need it, who we share it with and how long we keep it. We only ask for what we need to open and run your account, meet identity-verification and tax obligations, and pay you.

1. Data we collect

When you create an account

  • Your name, email address, phone number, country of residence and nationality.
  • A password, which we store only in hashed form. If you sign up with Google or LinkedIn, we receive your name, email address and an account identifier from that provider instead of a password.

When you verify your identity (KYC)

  • Identity details: CNIC or passport number, date of birth, gender, father’s or husband’s name, address and city.
  • Tax details: NTN (if you have one) and your filer status.
  • Employment and financial profile: employment status, occupation, employer, annual income, source of funds, source of wealth and investment experience.
  • Declarations you make, for example whether you are a politically exposed person and your tax-residency (FATCA) status.
  • Documents you upload: identity document, selfie and proof of address. We also record screening results against sanctions and watch lists.

When you invest, add funds or get paid

  • Your payout bank account: account title, bank name and IBAN.
  • Subscriptions, payment references, payment proofs you upload, wallet transactions, units held, distributions and withholding tax deducted.

When you contact us

  • The name, email, phone number, topic and message you send through the contact or call-back forms.

Automatically

  • Technical data needed to run the site securely, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of requests, kept in server logs. Actions on your account are also written to an audit log.

2. Why we use it

  • To provide the service: open and secure your account, allocate units, keep the unit and cash ledgers, pay distributions and sale proceeds, and send statements and service messages.
  • To meet legal obligations: identity verification, anti-money-laundering and sanctions checks, withholding tax by filer status, and keeping financial records.
  • To answer you: reply to enquiries and call-back requests.
  • To protect the platform: prevent fraud and abuse and investigate problems.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share it with

  • Service providers that help us run the platform, such as hosting, email delivery, identity and screening checks, and banks that process payments to and from the property accounts.
  • Google or LinkedIn, only if you choose to sign in with them.
  • Authorities such as tax authorities, regulators or law enforcement, where the law requires it.

Pages load fonts and code libraries from third-party content delivery networks (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, cdnjs). These providers receive your IP address when your browser requests those files.

4. How long we keep it

We keep account, KYC and transaction records for as long as your account is open and afterwards for as long as the law requires financial and identity records to be kept. Documents under a retention requirement cannot be deleted before that period ends. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and a security token that protects forms (CSRF). Your choice of theme and display currency is stored in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, payouts need approval by two different people, and changes to financial records are written to an append-only audit trail. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

7. Your choices

You can see and update most of your details in your account. You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, or to close your account. Where we must keep records by law we will tell you what we cannot delete and why.

8. Contact

For any privacy question or request, email info@wizft.com or write to us at 2nd Floor, Eziline Plaza, Behind Zeta Mall, Islamabad.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email.
