How do I exit an investment?
Updated 05 Oct 2026
There are three ways out of a property investment:
- The planned sale. Some properties have a planned sale (for example Build n Sell and Buy n Sell). When the property is sold, you get your capital back and your share of the profit, after costs, fees and tax, in your wallet.
- A vote to sell. Investors in a property can vote together on whether to sell it. If more than half of the units that vote say yes, and enough investors take part, WIZ arranges the sale. See How voting to sell works.
- Selling your units to another investor. Any time after a property is fully funded, you can list your units on the Market and set your own rate. A buyer is not guaranteed.
Units may not be easy to sell before the planned exit. Capital is at risk.
