What happens if a property does not get funded in time?

Updated 05 Oct 2026

Each property shows a funding goal and a closing date. If it has not reached its goal by then, WIZ decides whether to extend the funding period or to cancel the raise.

If the raise is cancelled:

  • Every investor is refunded in full, with no fees kept. That includes the entry fee you paid on top of your investment.
  • The money goes back to your WIZ wallet. From there you can invest it in another property, or withdraw it to your own bank account (the one saved in your profile) under the usual withdrawal steps.
  • The units you were issued are removed from the property's ledger, and any referral bonus earned on that investment is reversed.
  • Orders you had not paid for simply expire after 48 hours and the units go back on sale.

No oversubscription. A property cannot take in more than its units. While you pay, your units are held for you, and other investors cannot buy them. When every unit is held or sold, the property shows Fully invested or On hold.

Your refund shows in your wallet history, and you get an email when it happens.
